When preparing an RFI / RFQ for a new aircraft, the detailed configuration is a combination of international and local regulatory requirements, end customer specifications and aircraft role, and the operator’s own needs. A helicopter configuration may be is in two parts; baseline and completion. Baseline is in this context considered the build standard for all helicopters, regardless of role. Completion is the customization and it may vary depending on aircraft role, i.e. State, VIP, utility, or offshore. There may also be requirements not currently covered by the OEM’s option.

ACS can work with the customer, carry out an assessment and provide inputs in relation to aircraft specification and configuration. This includes STC’s and other available options as well as ideas for new modifications if required.
