Users gain access to the AeroView’s contents by swiping their personal ID card at the AeroView access console. The system will recognize the technician’s assigned authorization level and unlock only the permitted doors. After removing the required tools, the technician simply closes the door and pushes a button to end the session. With no additional manual data entry necessary, the AeroVIEW maintains constant real-time inventory of the items checked out. The tool return process is just as simple and just as fast. Cabinet contents can be managed remotely, monitoring calibration status, and tool condition.
