Complex aircraft means complex planning and adequate control is only possible through the use of a computer and database system. Whether the operator chooses an in-house or existing system, a new commercially available system, or an OEM specific system, a detailed configuration to fit with the approved maintenance program and technical / operational aspects is required.

Careful consideration should be given to the database setup as this will be the main source of data for assessment of the business and aircraft in areas such as reliability monitoring and reporting, maintenance program effectivity monitoring, and spare part evaluation. The chart below (click chart to enlarge)shows an overview of functions related to maintenance control and monitoring. Most of these functions ties into the database.

ACS has the necessary knowledge of the aircraft and the expertise in relation to maintenance control configuration, and can help you configure a good system setup.
